After we went picking, the boys played in the bouncey-thingy. Colton hung out until bigger kids climbed in and decided to jump within 1.5 foot next to him.
At this point he was starting to get very cranky...this picture was taken right before a mini-meltdown that included pathetic cries/yells, chin touching his chest and running in circles until he almost fell....lucky for him mommy is fast.
My boys!
Well...We had a great day picking strawberries! The boys had a great time and we found out that Colton LOVES strawberries!! Who doesn't?? (Besides you Hannah ;-) ... and I guess you Chinh with your "supposed" allergy) We left the house at 8:40ish and drove down the Fredericksburg to Belvedere Plantation. It was built in 1770 and aparently the family were (or was?) friends with the Washingtons - who were frequent visitors. Our tractor ride took us past the orginal home. After we picked the boys played in the bouncy thingy and there were goats that Maximus pet and fed some hay, hay that he took off of the hay ride for the intent of feeding it to the goats! We paid for the strawberries and packed the kids in the car and went driving around Fredericksburg - which I would compare to downtown St. Charles, MO. Cute shoppes with cute close homes. We found a nice park and let the kids get out to play. Maximus found a girl to chase and Colton ate more strawberries :-) When we finally headed home at about 11:30 both boys fell asleep in the car.....the quiet was nice after a fun day...which was not over yet!
