This past Sunday I was incredibly blessed to sponsor Jose Luis Beaton the third as he was baptized into God's Kingdom as His child (Nic unfortunately was obviously absent). Liesl and Jose (Jr.) have been one of the biggest blessings Okinawa has brought to us. Not only are they great friends, but they have steadily looked out for the kids and I while Nic has been gone. I can honestly say that their friendship may be the biggest reason why I haven't lost my sanity these past 5+ months! When I think about leaving Okinawa this next year, I get all teary-eyed when I think about leaving such great friends!
When I get pictures from the baptism (Liesl takes amazing pics and I deferred to her abilities for pictures) I'll be sure to post some - little Jose is absolutely adorable!
