Nic and the kids the night before he left.

I got to talk to Nic last night on the phone, a pleasant surprise.  He's still stuck in transit, waiting on a flight to his final destination.  Hopefully he won't have to wait too much longer - I know he's getting bored.

It's actually cold here.  I'm planning on taking the kids to the zoo today, but a little part of me is dreading it because I HATE being cold!  Thankfully, they have a large science-like inside exhibit.  I have a feeling we'll be spending the majority of our day there.  Right now Maximus and Elora are on the porch and with the sliding door open, there's just a gush of cold air pour into my nice warm house!!  Good thing I have my coffee :-)
